PROBATION OFFICER
Joshua Kennedy – Joshua graduated from Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny with his associate degree in criminal justice. To continue his education, he attended Simpson College where he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in criminal justice with an emphasis in corrections. While in college he completed various internships, including the Fifth Judicial District – Adult Probation, the Story County Attorney’s Office, and completing ride-alongs with various law enforcement agencies. Joshua is currently the 2nd District Tracking and Monitoring Supervisor with Woodward Community Based Services where he helps juveniles create positive life changes. He is continuously learning about the corrections/criminal justice system. He is excited and honored to be part of the Center for Creative Justice to help others promote positive change in themselves and in their community.
